Emmi`Pet the Revolutionary power of ultrasound technology

Silent Toothbrush
Initial Consultations

Some dogs are more susceptible to plaque growth than others. Until recently the only solution to plaque and tartar build up has been a trip to the vets, with a general anaesthetic and descale, with a high possibility of extractions in the worst cases.

At Simply The Pets we use the Emmi pet toothbrush for teeth cleaning.

This ultrasonic toothbrush over the course of several appointments, gently dissolves the plaque on your dog's teeth.

The Emmi pet toothbrush is vibration-free and no actual brushing or scrubbing is necessary, making this a stress free experience for your dog as it is simple and non-invasive.

You will notice that it improves your dog's whole oral health, from their breath and gums to the tartar build-up on their teeth.

Emmi-pet, with its unique and patented dental care system, is now the new trend for a completely new kind of dental cleaning and oral hygiene. It is gentle, motionless and does not involve brushing or any abrasive action!

The Emmi pet ultrasound waves are transmitted through the wet toothbrush bristles with the Emmi pet toothpaste, creating millions of micro-bubbles that penetrate deep below the gum line & into the smallest gaps between the teeth & gum pockets. Bacteria, food remains, plaque and bad breath (which is the leading sign of periodontal disease) are removed. It also increases blod flow to the gums to heal wounds and stop bleeding.

This revolutionary method is based on a globally unique patent - the Ultrasonic Piezo-Chip created by Emmi-dent. This Piezo-Chip sits in the head of the toothbrush and generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute.

We do need to stress that the ultrasonic toothbrush is not a “magic wand”, it is a gentle and gradual method of removing tartar and bacteria from your dog's teeth and gums, and needs to be used for several sessions in order to thin the tartar and bacteria to make it safe enough to pick the tartar off the teeth.

How often should my dog get Emmi Pet?

We highly recommend two days a week appointments, over five weeks. We tend to notice a reduction in tartar after the first three to four sessions, but if the tartar build-up is high, then this may take longer, as all dogs and their teeth are different.

Once the five weeks have passed and hopefully your dogs teeth are much improved we would then recommend one monthly visit to keep on top of the bacteria and tartar build-up. or take up the standing order option and get two for the price of one a month.

Costs are per session:

Initial consultations are £45 if your dog is suitable for use of the Emmi-Pet and would work on your dog, this will include introduction to the Emmi-Pet for your dog and a plan going forward depending on oral condition, if not suitable it would just be a call out charge, of £15, if its's a dog I already walk or see no charge for checking, oral health.

Follow up sessions are then £30 to keep on top of reducing plaque and improving your dog's dental health.

We recommend booking in blocks of 10 initially to get to a stage of maintenance depending on the oral health, if booked and paid at time of Initial consultation then we will only charge £30.00 for this first visit so saving £15.00.

Once on maintenance we can set up a standing order for £30 a month

getting two treatments a month, for the price of one, these cannot be carried across to the next month if both have not been used.
